My mom fractured her hip over labor day weekend which required surgery and a long recovery period. The kids and I went out to CT the end of October to help her out. Jon, Anna, and Jacob came up for the weekend to see us. On Saturday we went to the pumkin patch/petting zoo and the park.

| 9 days in a townhouse required a little creativity to keep the kids entertained. The unfinished basement turned out to be a great place to let the kids burn off some energy. We also made daily trips to the water feature in the neighborhood and ran through the fields of grass. |
