Carter's birthday felt like a mini Christmas. We decided to get him a kitchen for his birthday. I know, a little girly, but the boys love playing with toy food and kitchens anytime we go somewhere that has one. If you asked Carter what he wanted he would tell you trains. However, I feel like we pretty much have every toy train that ever existed. Not really, but we have a complete wooden train set and table as well a huge amount of Thomas Trackmaster track and motorized trains. The easy present would have been to just add to the collection, but I have wanted to get a toy kitchen for a few years now and Jordan finally agreed. He regretted ever agreeing to this after it took us over 2 hours to assemble! We assembled the kitchen on Friday night after the kids went to bed and then decided to just leave it out so he would see it when he woke up. First thing Saturday morning he opened all his presents and then he and Colby played with the kitchen until they talked us into eating the cake at 10:30 am. We ate lunch at the only restaurant our kids ever pick, McDonalds, and then spent a few hours at Monkey Joes.
I'm two! Watch out world!
He blew the candle out three times. He kept doing it before we could sing happy birthdday.
Carter chose the purple train car because it had gummy bears. He ate the gummy bears and left the cake.
Why is he shirtless...I have no idea!
Why is he eating ice cream with his hands...again, no idea. The joy of boys!
