Catching Up

So I haven't really been in the blog writing mood lately. I do want to document what's been going on lately, so I'm going to go back and write about our Cabo trip in the Cabo Videos post and write about Christmas in the Christmas post. Here is some other random stuff that is going on...

In November I was called to be the Relief Society Secretary and a member of the activities committee. My 10 month hide out as the RS chorister is over, but being the RS secretary has actually been much less work that than the Primary secretary was. Mostly, I send a lot of emails, set up visits, ask people to give the prayers on Sunday, and do the agenda for our biweekly meeting. I haven't done much of anything yet on the activities committee. We were in Cabo during the ward Christmas party, so all I did was put together a flyer for that. I'm not even sure what the next activity is. They changed a lot of callings in January, so everyone is new to what they are doing. Jordan is still teaching the 7 year olds in Primary and loves it. He has a really roudy bunch this year compared to the little angels he had last year, but it doesn't seem to bother him. Colby became a Sunbeam and is still adjusting, but doing well. There are 12 Sunbeams in his class. They plan to split it once they find another teacher. Jordan is also in Junior Primary and says that Colby randonly turns around in his seat and yells "Hi Daddy" in the middle of sharing time. Carter will go to nursery in exactly 6 months...not that I'm counting! I spend all my time in the hallways with the sunday school ditchers.

I started up Strollerfit with the kids last week. Its a work out with your baby excercise class. The kids sit in the stroller while we do both cardio and strength training. We sing little songs and play games to keep them entertained. Colby absolutely loves it. Every morning he comes into my room and asks if we are going to Strollerfit today. When we are leaving he always says, "That was a fun Strollerfit"! Carter tolerates it. I have to bring food, bottles, and toys to keep him entertained, but for a kid that I never thought would sit in the stroller for an hour, he does pretty well. We've attended 4 classes so far and he has only had one melt down.

Jordan began his MBA program last week. He has classes on Monday nights. Right now he only has one class from 7:30-9:20, but noramlly he will have two classes and it will start at 5:30. I guess it's nice he gets to ease into it a little bit. It will take about 2 years to finish.

Colby enjoys his playgroups on Friday mornings with his friends from church, Austin and Landon. In February it will be time to get him signed up for preschool.
