Backyard Visitor

Living on the pond, we frequently get ducks and geese in our yard, and I occasionally find rabbit droppings and notice they have nibbled on the plants, but this is our first known raccoon. We live 2 streets and 3 rows of houses away from the woods, so we don't ever see raccoons or squirrels. On Friday night I was in the kitchen and noticed this little guy hanging out on our porch licking the concrete. He looked up at me but just ignored me. After a few minutes Jordan knocked on the glass to scare him away but he wasn't phased. Then Chloe came over to see what we were doing and went nuts. Again, the raccoon was scared in the least. He perked up and started scratching on the back door to see if he could get in to see Chloe. Chloe was pretty mad we wouldn't let her outside. She spends hours in the woods chasing squirrels and birds. The one time she was guaranteed to actually catch something we wouldn't let her outside!
