Mason--You are now 8 months and you are are a busy, busy little guy. You are EVERYWHERE! It's amazing to think that a month ago you were just beginning to crawl, because now you are a master. Just 2 weeks after learning to crawl you started pulling up to a standing position and shortly after that began to climb. You can successfully get up the stairs by yourself if we let you. (don't worry, we stand behind to catch you if you fall). You are such a happy baby and love to give big smiles to who ever will give you attention. Gone are the days where you would play in your activity gym, exercauser, Bumbo or bouncer for long periods of time. You do not want to be contained. You want your freedom to explore. You live to try to eat dog food and play in the dog's water bowl. You also love remotes and really wish that someone would let you play with an ipad. All this activity has you sleeping really well at night. You go to bed at 8:00 pm and sleep until about 8:00 am. You are eating cheerios for breakfast, baby food for lunch, and baby oatmeal cereal for dinner along with 1 or 2 bottles and some nursing. You have a big appetite and so far there isn't anything you won't eat. We keep telling you just 1 more month until you can eat more real people food! Dressing and diaper changing are like wrestling matches. You refuse to sit still. Holding you for long periods of time at places we can't let you down is also a challenge. You are so squirmy and just want your freedom to explore the world. You are keeping us on our toes, but we wouldn't trade you for the world!
